Meet Cladette

Meet my friend Cladette.  She is from Curacao and she is beautiful.  She cooks.  Real good.  And nothing makes her happier than watching you enjoy her food.  It is one of those places that you receive a mound of food, talk with your mouth full and smile between bites.  She is a sweetheart and I love her, her Island upbringing, and her fried bananas.

The hometeachers stopped by just in time to join us for our second dessert.  Then we watched Testaments together.  I swear it was her idea!  She walked me to the tram stop and hugged me goodbye like a mom would. 

I was so distracted by being so full that I got on the wrong tram.  Luckily, it led me through a beautiful part of the city.  Sometimes, mistakes fall in our favor...thankfully!
