UFO's in Utrecht

Wendy and I had been planning a weekend for the last few weeks.  I was ready for an escape from the stresses of job hunting and she was ready to play.  She lives in a cute little town outside of Gouda (as in, the cheese).  We decided to take the train into Utrecht.

The weather was finally nice again so we spent some time wandering the streets of the city.  There is a big university so it has a fun feeling downtown.  See if you can find the guy in the picture below that took a wrong turn during the Tour de France this week.

After all that wandering and shopping we were more than ready for a break.  So we did it Euro Style and stopped at a little cafe.  We soaked up and sun and the liquids while we people watched.  The story that I am about to tell you is not a lie.  We were sitting at our little table sipping our drinks when all of a sudden this guy pulls up in front of the cafe on a little scooter.  He is dressed in a black leather suit with a black helment on that was too small for his head.  He parks.  Then he pulls out this giant rolled up piece of plastic.  He lifts it high over his head and lets it unroll down to the ground (the whole thing was very dramatic).

The cafe went totally silent and then everyone started laughing...which made the guy mad by the way.  He had painted onto this sign "UFO's ARE REAL!!!"  He had even painted a picture of a little UFO.  He just stood there, holding up his sign, not saying a single word and then vanished into the crowd.
