Grandpa brought over a bunch of stuff he kept from The War. He told us about rations and his travels and the things he learned. We got to read some of the letters that he wrote home. It was really special being able to hear more about this time of his life. I am so grateful the the sacrifices he and so many others have made and continue to make in order to keep us safe and free.
