Polar Express

December 1st:  Our Thanksgiving Goodbyes didn't last very long.  We all (except for Jenny who had to teach) met in the middle (okay, not really the middle) at Flagstaff for a weekend-o-fun.  It was Daniel's birthday and what little boy doesn't dream of riding on a train for his big day?  Okay, so he isn't really little anymore and it was more for the kids but this is how happy he was to be riding a big boy train:

Oh how he keeps us all entertained.  Such a dork.  I'm glad we are all dorky together.

You know the book Polar Express that was later adapted into a movie?  Well, they have a Polar Express in Flagstaff that takes you for a ride to the North Pole!!!  There is music, hot chocolate, a conductor, music and best of all....Santa!

Please ignore the halo of hair fuzz.

Best Santa Ever

We played games and hung out all weekend at a condo.  The kids beat the adults every time.  So grateful everyone makes the effort to get together so often.  It is always worth it.
