That Bites

We decided to visit a real pumpkin patch this year instead of digging through nasty cardboard bins at Wal-mart.  Which sounds very "back to your roots" and All American and stuff but it turns out we went too late and had to do the bin diving anyway (which for some reason seems to be turning into the All American thing to do).

However, the pumpking patch proved to be a whole lot more than an empty field.  There were all kinds of farm games that kept the kids entertained for hours.

The main attraction was the petting zoo.  Unfortunately, the animals were sick of being pulled on by kids and Taylor got bit.  It was the saddest thing.  She was more heartbroken that the horse bit her than she was in pain.  She looked up at me with fat tears in her eyes and said, "why did he bite me?" So. Sad.

So she spent the rest of the day running around with horse teeth marks on her arm.  It didn't stop her from jumping up on the empty stage and performing for everyone.

It was a long full hot day.  After running up and down the slide the kids chilled in a giant box of corn.  Ah what a great life! Who hasn't dreamed of taking a nap in a tub or dried corn? Be honest. . .
