Life With Lindsey: Red Sea Vaycay

Getaways are healing, fun, relaxing and an important part of my emotional health and overall well-being (yeah, don't judge). Every once in awhile I need to step away from normal life and recharge. This last weekend the Bradford's took me on a trip to the Red Sea and it was HEAVEN!

We lived at the beach. And I tell you what, that is my kind of livin'!

Because it was a local, public beach we met all kinds of new friends!

We finished day one off by walking around downtown and eating Amazing humus and falafel!

Day two started out with a glass bottom boat ride. So it turns out that it was more of a glass

WINDOW boat ride which is equally awesome just in a more condensed form.

Captain Max took us to some pretty amazing places.

We were able to see a sunken ship and tank, a ton of colorful fish and even a sea turtle!

We jumped out and joined the turtle for a swim and did some serious snorkeling.

The kids had been looking forward to the snorkeling for days! Meeka has been wearing the

fins around the house all week. The ride to Aqaba was too long for Maddie.

But it was worth the wait!

After all the water adventuring we warmed up on the bow of the boat where the sun dried us off and the wind blew our hair and the water tickled our toes. And it was kind of perfect.

After another full day in the sun we of course had to go to the hotel and swim

some more before dinner.

On day three (our last day) we ended up going to a resort. The beach there was gorgous.

They also had three pools and and and... well, let me just show you.

We staked our claim on this lovely piece of paradise for the whole day. In between the sandcastle making, dock jumping, paddle boarding, pool ring diving and sunbathing... this is the place where we chilled. Not bad eh?
